Résumé

As critical thinking (CT) has become more important as an essential skill for the 21st century, there are many different courses for educators in numerous specific fields that intend to turn educators into effective CT facilitators. Which programs care for high-quality learning experiences that really enhance teaching skills and mindsets to foster CT professionally, and which do not? Current research has not much to offer to address that question (Janssen et al., 2019). Therefore, we attempt to narrow this conceptual and empirical hiatus with a qualitative study to give clear criteria and understanding for evaluating or developing effective training concepts for educators.
